On the way to work... Whoaaa! What's this?

A fellow with a 4X4 seems to have misplaced it?

He decided to do a little rock crawling in the middle of Lancaster.

He made it over the first two obstacles, the curb and a street sign.

The third, a granite fountain and former watering hole for horses was a bit much for him. (Or her, I didn't have time to find out more).

Charlie and Donna Jordan just did a great story on this fountain and some other monuments. Be sure to pick up a copy of Northern New Hampshire Magazine for this and other interesting stuff... like the story on the Prophet of Mount Washington and a LOT more! www.northernnhmagazine.com

The truck high centers on the fountain base. The end of the trail for it. Not enough lift and tires too small.

The building was a bit much to climb over too.

Maybe this summer the owner will come to Stump the Hummer to try another set of obstacles.

The fountain is built like kids' building blocks. I didn't see much more than a few chips out of it.

Gomer, head of our water department should have it back together when the warm weather returns.

He just put it together, if I recall correctly, last summer. He had it apart to install a new pipe.

Oh well, better luck next time... Try going AROUND this obstacle next time!
