Bethlehem is between NH I-93 and NH Route 3 on NH 302 and NH 142. Historically and to this day it is a destination for those plagued by allergies and hay fever. Apparently the low pollen count and clear mountain air make breathing easier there. There are numerous bed and breakfasts, antique shops, a resort and golf course, and a new Christian school (on route 142 north of town on the way to Whitefield). Bethlehem is home in the summer to many Orthodox Jewish folks who come to enjoy the area.
