| May, 2001 could be the best time in the next 22 years to see the northern lights. Northern New Hampshire, the further north the better would be a good bet to watch them from. | If you want to get pictures of the northern lights, use a fast color film, and try exposure times of at least 30
seconds to a minute or more. The f stop didn't seem to matter much. When I took these pictures I tried different speeds and f stops. A minute or so seemed best. |
